General Information
There are very few Christian ministries like The Word Today. The speakers take no fees, there are no facilities costs, and there is no overhead. In other words, there are no administrative costs associated with the program. The pastors' offices at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church are also The Word Today's offices. Secetarial duties for The Word Today are carried out by the secretary of Our Shepherd. Programs are recorded in the studio on site in The Word Today's International Headquarters, affectionately known as the "Fish Building," for its 24ft long Ichthus on its West wall. Use the link on the menu to learn more about the Fish building, including construction pictures. All monies given to The Word Today for missions go 100% to missions. Each penny donated reaches approximately one person per broadcast. If a listener gives $100, all $100 goes to missions! For that $100 gift, we estimate that ten thousand people will hear the Gospel on a broadcast of The Word Today! You can see why radio is such a powerful tool for the Gospel!
